View Full Version : difference in the heads for a dohc 2.0 and the msp

as the title states, i am wondering if there is any difference in the heads from the normal DOHC 2.0 and the MSP head.. i think my head is warped where then intake attaches, and i dont think its the intake.. its bn.. lol.. any answers would be awesome..

If you're referring to the "regular" Protege 2.0, it's the same exact engine as the MSP, minus the turbo bits, so you should be looking at the same head.

ok, thats what i thought.. so there is no difference in valve sizes, clearences and intake ports?

Well, the hamsters in the MSP were usually a bit more buff, but there weren't any more of them than in the regular Pros.
