I was driving today and i started noticing that when letting out the clutch there is a small shutter or stutter at the very end of the swing. It only happens sometimes.. but any ideas as to what this is? Could it be the LSD? Any info is appreciated.
Thanks

Could be a tired clutch and/or whooped motor mounts. How many miles on clutch?

I just bought the car about a month ago.. it had 49k on it when i bought it and has about 52k now. As far as i know the clutch has never been replaced. It only happens sometimes and it only happens when taking off from a stop. At the very end of the clutch release it feels like something is tapping while its rotating... hard to explain.

Its not your LSD.
And you say it only does it taking off....So always in first?
Is it only when you first start driving for the day or after an extended time of sitting?
These car have been known to get a bit of shudder out of the OEM disc....And if some one has Been hard on the clutch..your presure plate and flywheel could be heat-checked which will create hard spots and cause the Clutch to act slightly erratically.

Im glad to hear that it doesn't sound like the LSD... and yes, it only happens when in first gear and goin from a stop.
It seems to happen randomly with no relation to length of driving time.
As long as this isn't hurting anything else.. am i good to just ride it out till the clutch is done and needs to be replaced? I do not notice it slipping in any gear or at any speed.
thanks again for the responses.

this happens to me as well, i've noticed that if i rev the engine and let the RPMS fall while i engage the clutch in first it will shudder and shake, but if i carefully match the revs with idle as i engage the clutch; no shaking.
