Help, how do you get the brake rotors off!?

i looked in the BF online manual and did a search.

how do you get the brake rotors off? it's the strangest design i've ever seen. the entire front suspension design is so simple, and then they go and make something like the rotor confusing.

maybe i'm missing something simple.

The rotors are behind the hubs.
