Hi all,
Ideally, I would like the K&N Typhoon intake but I have too many expenses right now and I think I'll hold off on those kind of mods until my warranty passes. I need to replace my stock air filter and was wondering if the K&N drop-in filter is worth it over a conventional paper filter.
I don't think anyone has seen any performance gains, but perhaps it does really give you 1 more mpg or make the car run smoother. Clearly, it cuts down on the number of filters you have to replace. By the way, I can get the filter for around $36.
