Hi,
Any suggestions would be great..
Basically my speed is having a hard time building boost on low RPMS. It's fully spooled by 4k RPM which is way to long for this turbo.
It sounds like I have an HSK SSQV but im running the stock BPV.
All vacuum lines are mint; the WGA is replaced and works fine. I also just reced the exhust mani gasket and studs/bolts.
It might be the cold pipe cause it's the stocker still..
Edit: Also to note: The sound of the turbo (intake) sucking air as it slowly spools is practically gone.

check your clamps on turbo, intercooler, and tb. or your stock pipes could have cracks in em

All clamps look pretty mint, I've re-seated them all 2 weeks ago..
Stock coldpipe might be cracked, nothing I can see as of yet.

sorry dude but i think the same shit happened to me. i really didnt notice till i put the injen cai and within a certain time period my engine was full of oil. what prolly happened is you prolly broke the turbo seal, i would sugest you buy a new/used one or rebuild it. i had it rebuilt and it did the same thing. also see if theres thick white smoke that comes out of the tailpipe.

hmm... I really dont think it is the turbo but it is possible. My pipes have little to no oil in them (sri, hotpipe)
btw, I have no white smoke coming out of the exhust.

Make yourself a boostleak tester.. google it.. and fill your system to about 6psi with a bike pump.. listen for leaks, or take out a spray bottle with soapy water and spray the pipes and connections.. you'll find your leaks.

Temporarily remove your stock bypass valve and plug the holes. Testdrive and see if it behaves the same.

I think it might come down to this..

Replaced stock BPV
Replaced stock cold pipe
Put on stock hot pipe
put on stock SMIC
detached WGA line
Detached boost gauge line.
changed IM gasket to cylinder head and got all new bolts n shit
not burning white smoke
minimal shaft play.
no oil in intake
Still no turkey and no cell came on. Car is fully spooled by 4k rpm and idles at 500

did u do the boost tester? thats really whats next. does the turbo spin freely? i know it doesnt have shaft play but it should spin no problem, maybe a coked bearing on the turbo?

Yeah turbo spins fine, just like 40k ago. The boost tester is next and I've ordered 5 meters of silicone for all my lines.
