I have Installed Michelin 255/50/R20 Latitude Tour HP
The ride is much better than the Brigdestones That came on the CX-9.
$250.00 per Each plus Mt. And Balance.(eek2)

Also, any rubbing issues? I have not looked at inner clearance, but the wheels seem to be tucked under pretty far. I wouldn't expect 10mm to make that much difference...

There aren't a lot of 245/50 R20 tire choices around.
However, there are many with 255/50 R20.
Just make sure you pick one that has diameter close to the
OE tire (29.8"). That way, your odometer should remain correct.
The OE tires cost $183 at tirerack.com. Rest assured that Mazda
did not cheap out on CX-9.
I checked the inside clearance. It seemed no problem even if you go up to 275.
