I see my undertray has a large round opening near the oil filter. Is there supposed to be a snap-in cover for the hole? This is on an '08 Speed 3. Thanks for any info.

It looks big enough that it should be covered. Since the hole is not right under the filter, I don't know why they put it there.....

What the hell is that hole for anyways?At first I thought it was to get to the oil filter but it dont line up for that.

I believe it is simply for inspection . . . i.e. check for leaks, etc.

the hole might line up with the 2.0 motor or the NA motors but on speed it dosn't

That's what I've been thinking - race car style. Any holes reduce the effectiveness of the undertray, for whatever it's worth. I should have guessed it was a shared part with another model.

Make sure to keep some holes for draining any water that gets on the top of the tray.
