I know the first OXS goes in the header, but does the catted midpipe have a bung for the second? All the pics I've seen look like there's no bung in the midpipe if it has a cat. Or does the second OXS go into the header?

on the OBX header there are two O2 bungs on the header. i THINK the SLS catted pipe has a bung after the cat, but not 100% sure. if the SLS has a bung after the cat, then you just have to plug the second hole on the header.

oif the SLS has a bung after the cat, then you just have to plug the second hole on the header.

The OBX comes with a screw/plug on the second hole on it so wouldnt have to mess with it if the mid-pipe has a bung after the cat

Since both o2 sensors are in the manifold/j-pipe well before the midpipe & cat & same places on the OBX hdr then why would you wanna have to extend the o2 wiring far enough to reach behind the cat in the SLS midpipe? What would the benefit be? Why wouldn't you just plug the midpipe instead? Why wouldn't the one in the midpipe just be used for an additional wbo2 sensor if you needed it for afc?

....damn, was that too many questions?.......

moving the second o2 sensor prevents a CEL

That's what I plan on doing when I get my mid-pipe/wbo2 setup.

And for those looking to extend their second o2 sensor to fit in the mid-pipe to avoid a CEL- don't go through that hassle, just do the non-fouler trick. Been working on my car for 18 months or more and probably close to 20,000 miles or more.

Uhh, yeah, non-foulers FTW & hey good idea, I'll put the wb02 bung on the midpipe when I get it since there isn't one on it already.

Awesome. This is exactly what I needed to know

moving the second o2 sensor prevents a CEL
so does not hacking up wiring when unecessary.

Just FYI...Widebands read better the closer they are to the 4-1 collector....The temps/air mix gives more accurate readings at those points.....and you wouldn't want it after the cat....

Weldabung it is then. Buying new header for that too. Mine's gettin pretty krusty so planning on new one with 3 bungs, I guess & coated this time around.
