need help check engine light came on

ok well i was driveing down the high way and i need to move over to the next lane so i down shifted into 3rd gear and took of trying to get over and when i looked down i saw the light come on the code i got was a P0300 can anyone tell me what this is i couldnt find the post with the codes listed on it

A P0300 OBD code indicates a random or multiple misfire. If the last digit is a number other than zero, it corresponds to the cylinder number that is misfiring. A P0302 code, for example, would tell you cylinder number two is misfiring. Unfortunately, a P0300 doesn't tell you specifically which cylinder(s) is/are mis-firing, nor why.

shit on do you have any idea what would of through the ligth while i was driving? it didnt feel like i lost a cylinder or anything it just kept driving normal

plugs are brand new as well for the wires also could it just be a bad coil maybe?

I had the same thing.

Im going to invest in some coils soon. autozone has them dirt cheap.

it could have been jsut one of those things.

Reset the light by disconnecting the battery for a few seconds and see if it pops on.

Also check your air cleaners and the normal stuff.

it could havej sut been one of those thngs. reset the light and see if it happens again.

coils is like $17 each at autozone

ya there brand new wires and plugs and i got it cleared and nothing had poped up yet so it might have been bad gas or loose plug or wire
