Just put on my new Wheels . 18x8 offsett 48 Crono Ht's by OZ 19lbs .
New shoes are 235/18/40's Nitto NT1's
the place I took them to get mounted and balanced said they wouldn't fit but when I got them home I checked and apparently they just did not hold the wheel to the Hub all the way . I Rolled the rear fenders with a rubber hammer and used a painters heat gun to keep the paint pliable . I got a little ahead of myself and rushed on the second fender and cracked the paint about a half an inch . Sandpaper and Oem touch up paint and I cant tell I ever cracked it . I was even able to fit my OEM center caps on with no problems !

Looks good. Are you lowered at all? If so, on what?
How's the traction off the line with these? Big improvement?

I'm not lowered but I think it would look a lot better lowered . I think i'll just get the cobb springs though I don't want any narrower tires and it looks like im pushing it right now . With the car jacked up it almost touched maybe less than a half inch from the strut . No rubbing so far but I haven't pushed it yet . I even bought a torque wrench to put the proper torque im afraid of messing up the rotors .
Just got them on 1 hour ago but its a noticeable improvement the streets are still barely wet but I don't break loose in 3rd anymore . But this is an R compound tire I think and it doesn't do to well in the wet . I took it around a couple of corners and even wet its stickin a helluva lot better . They are really loud compared to the stocks sounds kinda like a jeep lol . I'm doing and auto cross tomorrow and hope its not still wet out . I should really be able to tell then : )

Well unfortunately the autox was a completely wet day didn't let up but I was able to take 1st in novice and 3rd overall a Z06 and a pretty sweet STI got the better of me . But I definitely got a lot more traction out of these even in the rain than I did with the worn out stock wheels and tires . No visible traces of rubbing at all . But I did do a poor job of rolling my fender on the drivers side and will have to redo it so a small indentment will pop back out and stay out .
