Nice. I like the color. Not really into the wide look, so I actually like the fitment of the wheels on the black and tan better, but either one is much better than my steelies. What kind of front lip is that?

the black one has an oem 'R' lip
and my white one has a 'garage vary' lip.

That's an R lip with something attached to the bottom. The flat bit is not part of the OEM lip.

Also, do you have any suspension travel at all, and if so, how does it not constantly rub those wide-ass tires on the fenders? Or is the car on air, and it's just slammed in those pictures?

yep, you're right. he does have some extra bit on the bottom of his R lip. He bought that somewhere on miata.net.

my suspension travel is minimal. it's not on air, that's the way it sits all the time. my tires do not rub at all; even at full lock pushing the car in n out of corners. i used to have 15" 002's with 205/50R15 size tires. that setup rubbed alot. now with the 16's, i have more clearance(205/40).
mind you these are my everyday wheels, and i use a different wheel tire combo for autox.
