Okay, so after much waiting and then getting a completely different wheel... Here are some pics. I will do a more updated pic thread after the coilover/sways install (probably at the end of this month)...
I ended up with 5zigen Pro Racer GN+ Hyper Black 18x8.5 w/ 48mm offset because the FN01r-c Hot Stuff matt black wheels were going to be at the end of this month and i was tired of waiting. But, Rishie at auto r&d is freaking awesome and he worked with me on these wheels...
Also, i was impatient (more like SU fucked me over on the fender roller rental! Can we say pissed!) i mounted the stock tires on the wheels.... I will buy Toyo Proxes T1R 245/40/18 after these are dead.

looks like you took a page out of the old "v-dub stretch and poke" book. looks good, but the tires are stretched a little and would fit in better if you were lowered but i see all that is on the way. nice job, very nice wheels.

They were about $350... and wheelweights.net say they are 22 lbs. but i have a hard time believing that for some reason. They didnt feel that much anyway.

(mswerd) I totally agree. I am not the hugest fan of the old "European stretch", but i really want to get these on here and Street Unit took 4 days just to send the roller, which put it here today, and i was a little on the shy side about cramming 245's without rolling the fenders.
Besides, people are freaking cheap-skates about buying used wheels and tires. Originally, i was going to sell the wheels and tires, but now i am thinking of keeping the rims in case i move back north (ie. Chicago).

i was inquiring about those wheels from AutoRnD also, but they were out of stock because I could have picked up locally. hmm maybe you took the last set?

:'(...i know and i am sad, but at least this gives me a chance to do suspension first...
I also wish that the ProRacerGN+ came in a matt black. I think that i may have them powder coated when i get the new tires...which by the way i have been driving...will be very soon(drive2)(five-0)(shocked)

(five-0) Ya they don't like my driving either. Once my 235s are gone I might need to step it up to 245, however My car has so mich grip right now with my 235s; I'm wondering if the extra 2 lbs for the 245s is worth it. (uhm) Have you decided wich tire your getting?

Def the Toyo Proxes T1R...24lbs at 245/40/18, bbbuuuutttt.... 22.9lbs. at 245/40/18
Still, i think that you have a great point and that is... How much actual added grip in cornering and acceleration do to you gain by adding the extra 10mm?
