So a few of us installed manifolds this weekend. Two of us had DNP manis and one person had the PG. Here are some side by side shots. It appears that the tubes of the PG are significantly longer than the DNP. Welds are nice on both. The bracing is significantly different. The DNP is noticeably heavier than the PG despite the longer tube length. This may be due to the larger bracing or material type.

The DNP has the black painted flanges. It appears that one manifold bolt hole is not used on the PG manifold. This is apparent in pic 3.

Here's a couple of pix post install. The DNP has a nice patina from the oxidation. Shawing!

They both look awsome...I hope there isnt a leak thru the gasket where that missing bolt is on the one mani..You would think you would be better safe then sorry by deleting it.This may be a mod I will do this summer some time.

On a side note dada,Didnt you install a catch can?I thought I read before that you may have..If so could you give me a link on a how too or just give me some pointers on where to hook it up..

My catch can is located in the front part of the bay. You can see part of it between the FMIC tube and the CAI.

You have to remove the intake mani to install it b/c the nipples are on the block and underside of the mani. You have to remove the power steering pump, throttle body, egr tube, and associated vacuum lines and electrical connectors and then pull the mani to install it. It takes about 3 hours total. I usually do a vtcs delete when i install catch cans. PM me if you're interested.

Worth it though. I empty mine at every fill up and am shocked at how much comes out.

So it seems that the DNP manifold clears the turbo outlet much better than the PG... DNP seems to be a better fit...

What are the advantages of longer tubes like in the PG versus the shorter tubes on the DNP?

So whats the verdict? What are the differences in performance between the two?

What is the cost and availability of the DNP? Since the DNP seems to take up less room, do you still have to remove the valve cover for the install?
What I'm asking is, was the PG more involved in install than the DNP since its larger?

The bolt used in the DNP manifold and not used in the PG one I believe is not used by the stock one either...I have to confirm that. But we were mad when we saw we didn't have to tighten that one fully up as the manifold wasn't using it. And then we check stock and it was missing that hole too. So I gotta check. Also PG has a lifetime warrantee, DNP is one year...not sure how I feel about a ONLY a 1 year crack free guarantee on a SS Turbo Manifold...

You do not have to remove the valve cover for the DNP. The guy with the PG didn't install his b/c he didn't the $$$ and he didn't want to do it himself. I think he's attempting it this weekend so maybe he'll report after then.
