another question - dash kit install?

Like I said before, I am new to car mods and just got a mazda 3 a few months ago. I am thinking about doing a new dash kit. Is this a reasonable installation for a beginner? Do I have a chance at succeeding here?

This is a permanent mod in most cases. The default method of attachment is the functional equivalent of super glue.

Personally, I can't stand the 3 molded into the one piece. Looks tacky.
