I want to free up some space between the engine and the battery box for a upgraded turbo inlet. The ATP 3" is very nice, but it just doesn't fit well. I'm going a different route with a custom inlet, but the ECU and harness still gets in the way. I picked up another ecu and harnes to make an extension to mount the ecu on the front side of the battery box. Anyone try this or see any issues?

Looks risky, is it really worth it?

Why does this look risky? It's just moving to the front of the battery box as opposed to the side.

I would suppose that if it is not going to be affected by heat or electromagnetic fields you should be ok. Do any harnesses need to be lengthened if so which ones? thanks

I am making a harness extension just like the Plug-n-Play harness that PG now offers.

As far as shielding, the ECU is hermetically sealed and shielded via case and grounding. Won't be an issue.
