I'm interested in Falken Azenis, but Falken recommends an 8.5 inch rim as optimum, though an 8.0 will work. 18 x 8.0 with 235/40 tires with an offset of +48 puts the edge of the tire barely clearing the fenderwell (some guys have had to roll the lip). To keep the edge of the same tire at the same position on an 8.5 inch rim should require a +55 offset if I did the math right.
Do you have any thoughts on this (oh yeah, the car is an MS3)? If I am correct, do you carry any rims lighter than stock in this size? 18x8.5 55mm offset.
