I have a Harley Sportster and have been ragged on by some of my street bike friends but who cares? If I wanted a faster bike, I would have bought one. And, my bike is a heck of a lot more comfortable.

When you bought the MS3, were you just looking for the fastest car you could afford? If so, toss on some mods and bam, you can rag on them for spending so much more on a car that gets beat by a little hatchback.

Uh the G35 coupe is a shortend RWD structure from the sedan. The same thing is slightly modified for the Z as well. No altima there thats a completely different animal.

Oh and to the OP who gives a rats ass if they are faster have them go to Home Depot and put plywood in thier cars and see how much they think your car is less then. MS3 is one of the most usable fast cars out there, plus you're getting better gas milage (2thumbs)

The G35 is the same engine as a 350z and a lot heavier. The G35 is no where near as fast as a 350z and I have run my share of those.

The G35 is a nice looking car, but its not fast. I use to beat them in my S2000 all the time as well. S2000/MS3 are a drivers race.

Well, I'm going to come right out and say your problem isn't your friends and it isn't the MS3 and it isn't the G35. It's you.

If you let yourself be bothered by what your friends say about your car, it's your fault that you are unhappy. Really.

They drive sport-tourers from the luxury division of Nissan, and paid at least $10,000 more for their cars than you did for yours. After dropping the equivalent of a pretty nice used Miata on top of the price of your car, they've got a car that could, potentially run the 1/4 mile .2 to .5 of a second faster than yours. Or not.

I say, don't sweat the fraction of a second. Your car would eat theirs for lunch at an autocross, and probably on a road-race course. Personally, if I had the money for a new G35, I'd buy a new MS3 and a used Miata, and have two cars that are faster in the twisties! ;)

Plus, you'll get better gas mileage and spend less on maintenance than they will! :)

Just enjoy what you have, and don't let the opinions of others influence your sense of self-worth.

1) Sport bikes are awesome, and can be beautiful, and you dont have to be paul walker to ride one. But for 8k I'd get a more expensive car.

2) G35's are basically just as fast as the MS3, however, its much sexier looking, it has more brand cache and its RWD, which, is great as our car handles, RWD feels so much better. But I'm in a snow climate so I have to have FWD or AWD.
