well after many months of waiting and fuel cut, my pump came from Jon yesterday. i did the install in about 30 min. total. it was super easy ! the car fired right up and ran perfect. the temps were about 42 degrees and i got no fuel cut at 20psi. i took some logs with the DH for you guys to see. my afr's are low 11's high tens. that impresses me considering the temp, my mods, and boost level. check it out !!....... look at the fuel pressure. there are a few ups and downs but it hold awesome ! my stocker fell to below 1000psi up top in the cold. not this one !!
4th gear pull from a roll. i spiked to 23 held 20..16 @6K

4-5 gear. 5th is clearly leaner but still @ 11:0 !!

3-4 and a little bit of 5th.....all 10's-11's sweeeeetttt !!

thanks a million Jon ! i feel much safer pushing my car this hard now. now i will have the fuel to keep up with my big wheel k04 from PG (it is on the site now)!! i am waiting on a CS downpipe to do the install of both. oooohhhhh yeah !!

so your ecu didnt have any problems with the new pump? I just put the pump on thursday and the car ran much smoother for about 10 minutes so i ripped it in 2nd and nothing. I had absolutely no boost. from then on my car hasnt wanted to run well at all. It starts real shity and i have to hold the idiol up for a couple minutes. im pretty sure that the throttle plate keeps closing but im not sure why. i took the standback off to see if the stock ecu would adjust better but i got the same results... zero boost in any gear. Any help would be great.

This shouldn't have anything to do with boost unless the car has gone into safety mode Please don't drive unless you have a wideband and your issue is super rich. and you might still be detonating?!! Careful! Seek a physician at once

no problem at all...my car just ripps !!! boost does hold longer, but still falls off. i used to hold 20 falling to about 14. now it holds 20 falling to about 16 by 6k. hey 2 psi is 2 psi !! not to mention my AFR's are safer by like a whole point !

2 psi is what? 20-30whp?

Ms this turbo is veery small. At 1 bar you are about maxed out. more boost does not equal much gain at this point. you want more flow not more boost go bigger. If you want more power than you already have throw a bigger T and tune it. The car has been alot of fun but I will be adding some more breath to her with a bit less boost. And you Will get that puppy to run 13.8 as is with practice. If not better. Happy motoring!

Ooh, you should really drive the car conservatively for at least 20 miles or so in varying traffic to let the ECU adjust itself...
You should never push the engine hard after a new mod...
Let us know what happened...
So how much is this fuel pump upgrade!!?? (huh)
I've run out of mods to do to my car and I am looking for more!! (lol2)

Don't need to worry about that with the fuel pumps.

car is still running strong and have yet to see even the slightest issue. MPG seems the same as before too. worth every penny !

i took the new pump back off and it looks like the spring got stuck in and thats why it was pumping so much gas. the ecu kept closing the throttle plate because it couldnt take anymore gas which is probly why i didnt have any boost. mrlilguy has already sent me a new pump and is pretty sure that it will work fine. when the new pump gets here i will hook it up and see if i noice any improvements over the stock pump.

I got the replacement pump a couple days ago and it seems to work perfectly. I havent done much datalogging with it yet but i did just get my wideband put in. before with the stock pump at wide open i was around 11-11.5. now its reading 10 flat so its obviously pumping more fuel. now i just need to fine tune it again and i'll be all set.
Good work to mrlilguy on the pump.

My pump just came in Thursday. I'll be installing it today before I head off to work. Would like to see how it does with my mods. Did you guys pop off the gas cap, remove the fuse and relay, and try and start the car to relieve fuel pressure?

I guess with the wide band you already have shown that more fuel is supplied and, to have to pare it down is a good thing. Thanks speedy
