I don't really know a lot about both these parts, but have read about how they handle. I just want to know what are the major differences, and which is better to do in your opinion?

im curious about the CS inserts as well because i heard after about 200 miles the vibes go away. But they still stiffen it up. So if i can have someone confirm that they dont vibe i wil order right now. I have been there with the MM in my msp and i can't stand vibes anymore. I personally believe learning how to clutch smoother is a better trade off then the vibes

No vibes with the corksport. I've had it for 10k miles. It definitely improves shifting feel and wheelhop. I mean honestly it probably doesn't work "as well" as a full MM, but I personally don't want any extra vibes, since it's my DD. I think these things are probably the best thing for the money so far for the car!

ya that would be great, so the inserts just improve wheel hop and opt for better shifting, but not as well as the full motor mounts, but Im looking at more vibes with the motor mounts??

CS Inserts - No Vibes, decreased wheel hop, increased shift feel
VS.
MM - Vibes, additional decrease in wheel hop, additional increase in shift feel

I'm just wondering how bad the vibes are. I mean is does the benefit of getting the mm (decrease in wheel hop and smoother shifting) outweigh the cost of mm (price and vibes). Some one with the mm tell me what you think. Also I was considering the SU mm any opinions?

If you think about it the inserts are the dealer friendly way of stiffening up your shifter feel. A full replacement MM in my opinion is for a more serious tuner who does not mind a very vibration filled cabin. I have this car as a DD so I need something that is the best of both worlds. My inserts will be here within a couple of days.

HUH?? I just installed my CS inserts couple days ago and i don't notice any vibes AT ALL!! Climate has got to play some role cause i don't understand posts like this. Posts like this kept me from getting the TRZ and so i went inserts. It's been hot out here. Whats the climate like for those of you who claim vibes?

i got the poly trz mm and vibes started going away about after a couple of days. Just drive it hard and it will set in a lot faster. When i first put it in and started it up ... oh man .. i thought the vibes where too much and was glad i didn't get the delrin mm. Its been less than a weak and the vibrations have greatly reduced .. could be due to this hot weather in cali, 90 degress.

I put in the TRZ poly mount and thought the vibes were going to be unbearable-- I commute 80 miles highway round trip every day.
I put the MM in, and yeah there are some vibes, but it is nothing like I thought it was going to be. With normal cruising I barely feel it. It's only really noticable when letting out the clutch from a stop-- once you are in gear I really don't notice it that much at all.
People that are swapping the TRZ poly out for for DD reasons must have some sensitive bums..
One member said that it felt like he was driving on rumble strips all the time-- mine isn't like that at all.

I guess after hearing about the bad vibes, I guess I will go with the inserts. Any opinions on which ones to get.

this topic has been victim to opinion far to many times. You should either:
A) search the topic and see countless opinions
B) purchase the 35$ inserts
C) purchase the inserts and mm, and test separately
Do you want someone to tell you what to buy???
Sure, go buy the inserts. I have them, with No Vibes (as stated above) and since I do not race my car, I am more than satisfied.
Install time is equal

Look, here's how i look at it. The inserts are only $35. If you end up thinking nothing of the vibes then just upgrade to TRZ. $35 inserts are still a great improvement over stock and at least you'll personally find out if the "vibe" statements are true or not.

honestly, I dont personally own a speed3 but I have done a fair bit of work on 'em......I have ridden in them stock, with the delrin mount, and with the TRZ and to tell the straight truth, you can NOT even tell the trz is there, the delrin is more noticeable but not that bad....it goes away almost completely when in gear and at idle is more of a VERY soft -rumble- than a vibration
granted I dont daily drive the ms3 but until you ride in a car with stiffer mounts all around you dont know what vibrations are =P
personally my msp has AWR front and rears with a SLS Performance passenger side (all three had originally torn) and while those vibrations are bad in a cold startup they go away almost completely while doing normal driving as well
my recomendation:
find a local with a trz mount and ride in it....only you can tell if its going to be too much for you, a lot of people on the cali forums get the mount thinking they are gonna hate it and then end up loving it

Just installed the inserts yesterday and there are no noticeable vibrations. The inserts are definitely worth the 35 chucks.......A lot less wheel hop and improved shifting. Today I installed the shifter bushings. This is how the car should have been stock.

Whelp, I just installed the corksport inserts and here is my review:
There is an increase in vibrations, don't let someone tell you there isn't. Very little, but its there. Primarily in startup and if you ever lug the motor in rpm's, you'll notice. My wife has seemed to notice it but I have a feeling it was only after I had pointed it out.
Installation was pretty straight forward after you figured out what was what. The 3 bolt bracket is a must to remove. I also recommend an impact gun for removal. Not a simple task by hand, but doable I suppose.
All in all the car does feel more planted and solid. I would say it is worth the $40 and the time. It almost makes driving the car hard feel as though you're really not being as hard on it. Shifts are easier, motor is a bit more responsive.

I have had the TRZ poly and the PTP solid race mount. I prefer the feel of the PTP. The vibes arent that bad. You notice it mostly when cruising at 3000 rpms. I say go for the full MM. The TRZ Poly is a nice piece that will put you right in the middle.

Yeah, I just installed my CS inserts and I'd have to say they're pretty nice compared to inserts when I had my MSP. Barely any vibration taking off and with the A/C on, a little less wheel hop, shifter feels a little more smoother and less lash from the engine. Worth the $35. When installed, I just just take those 3 tranny mount bolts off. It's way easier and all you have to do is line up the holes but moving the tranny with your hand.

I think I may know what you two are talking about. Over this winter when it got really cold outside, say less than 20 degress, I would be driving out of my neighborhood and while going over bumps it sounded like there was grinding going on. But it wasn't while was shifting, it almost sounded like it was coming from the shocks. It went away after maybe 5 minutes though.

wWell being here in florida we dont have to worry to much about the temp dropping, but early in the mornings I am just concerned that I may be causing some sort of damage. I typically let the car warm up for a couple of minutes but it just seems to continue happening.

Very brief Corksport MM insert review:
Installed them tonight, vibrations only very slightly noticeable. Not a huge issue to deal with at all. Shifting seems better and the car has a more solid feel to it. I do feel like going over bumps is a bit harder though, but that could be in my head too. All in all, very good $35 to spend.
I installed my corksport inserts this afternoon and I must say, it's definitely worth the money. At first I didn't really notice a difference (you're probably wondering why) but I let the car sit for a couple hours and I guess the inserts got a bit more settled in and I can definitely tell you that the shifting feel is much improved. I haven't tried launching the car to see if there is less wheel hop yet.
I didn't have any air tools just a socket wrench and it took a bit to get the bolts loose but after that it was a pretty basic install. I put the bolts on as tight as I could although I may check the tightness of them when I do my first oil change. So far I am very satisfied, the car should have felt like this to begin with.
Seems like a consenses that the CS inserts are a better option the full MM swap?

Kind of, it depends if you want more comfort or rigidity. Are you willing to sacrifice comfort for less wheel hop? How often do you race?
I will be stopping by Corksport when their new batch of inserts arrive. I want some improvement when shifting, and on the road, I dont get too much hop at all, only when I race. It is my daily driver, so comfort over further improved shifting and less wheel hop.
I almost wouldnt mind having the dogbone with the delrin bushing for when I do race.

I have the SU Motor Mount and comfort is not an issue (very little vibs if any) and the shifting/ wheel hop was much improved. I would say it was $120bucks very well spent. Mine was $139.00 because I got the black one :)
I know someone (boosting 20psi, etc) that broke the stock one so I guess that's one reason I went with the Full MM upgrade vice inserts.

one thing I'd like to add is there is a slight vibration when starting the car with the inserts. Other than that and some minor vibrations at lower rpm/bogging it's not very noticable.
