Reverse Light Connection

Recently i rebuilt my motor after spinning the rod bearing...while putting the trans back in there is a wire coming out...i think its the reverse light connection...but i cant seem to find where the connection is for the side not on the trans...any help?

There should be 2 wires coming out.. One is on the side by the fill plug and the other is back around by your shift linkage..
