I am debating doing this to see if it solves my new found smoking problem. Does anyone have a link for a How To thread specifically for the MS3 or MS6. I know that the PCV is down by the intake manifold but dont want to start tearing it apart until I have a better idea of what I am getting in to.
Would you suggest I give this a try first or head straight to the dealership?

eliminating the pcv, or atleast stopping it from seeing the intake tract is always ideal, no matter what. i mean, earth and the governing bodies will hate us for it, but in terms of performance efficiency...it's ideal.
i always did this on my honda hatch, no matter what engine setup i was running. i want to do it to this car very soon...

I am very close to doing this as well, as I have heard it has cured the smoking at idle issue on some MS3/MS6s which I have.
PCV- check valve- catch can- manifold FTW.
There is a board member named Whoosh with a modified MS6 that did this on his car and has a breif write up on it w/pics. You will have to contact him for a link.
If I do one on my MS3 I will definitely be doing the write up and putting it up here or on jscspeed.com
