Overall it is a great looking wheel, my only complaint is the "bowed" effect that the spokes have from the side shots.

Damn those rims are heavy, good price though.

22.6 lbs is not heavy for an 18X8. There are lighter wheels out there, but most are a lot heavier.
Are they cast or low pressure cast?

Element wheels is where I got my Tenzos from back in Jan. A great company to deal with!

I've been checking out these wheels for a while, and I am trying to decide what color would look best on sunlight silver. I like the charcoal, black, or these 2 colors in version 2, which comes with a polished lip and center piece. I need some suggestions.

I would probably go charcoal on sunlight silver, but black would definitely look good too.
do you guys carry any of your rims in 17x8 +45mm?

The Black with Machined Face would look killer I think. I'll try to get pics of that one up on Monday for you guys, some just came in today.

Yea the machine face looks so clean! After confirming this color with you guys, I'm around 90% on my choice. Just need to check out the lip, and how the black looks on the inside of the spokes. How many 18x8 machined face did you receive?
Haltech

The offset was the killer for me along with color choices. Beautiful wheels otherwise.

Great looking rims, i like all the color choices, the color of the car would be the only deciding factor, because not one of the finishes is ugly.
I've already got rims, but i'll let my roommate know about these. He drives an Evo.

I would like to chime in. Element supplied me with the Tenzo DC-5s in bronze with Nitto 555 for a great price and good service too. When I need more Nitto's I will ask The guys at Element to supply them again for me. m4tic, resistance is futile!

The black w/ red stripe on red is definitely played out, but for a good ass reason. By far the cleanest black w/red stripe for all of the red ms3 owners out there.
I am leaning toward the also played out silver w/ black, but I have yet to see a silver ms3 with these wheels in black or even charcoal. Come on silvers, get ballsy and do me a favor!!
Looks good man, car is sick. What exhaust is that? Looks like a frag launcher

Yeah those rims look hot!! I also have a silver MS3, I would get them but the colors do make a difference. Im leaning towards more of the charcoal on silver look (first) Anyone with a silver MS3 who is a risk taker? Or at least photoshop to get an idea?? haha! But who knows?

Hi guys, new to the forums. Actually own an rx8 and am interested in the Tenzo's.
I'm looking at the type two, I like the chrome looking lip. I have no problem with offset, and am going to stay stock.
Before I make my first ever purchase of aftermarket wheels, I have to know the difference in Cast and low pressure cast wheels. I am an aggressive driver, and venture into the twisties often. From a purely love of the road and handling standpoint, would these be a good wheel to buy?
Thanks,
MS3077

Which ones would look best on the Black Mica and is the offset okay enough that I wouldn't need to roll my fendors if I go H&R springs?

My cousin said his friend used a pinstriping tape or something to make his own lip and said it turned out flawlessly. I imagine you could just buy the black wheel and do it yourself. Take your time and it'll look fresh.

i agree with relli, i'm sure there are ways for you to make a blue lip by yourself.
you can also take any wheel to most paint shops and they can paint it for you. or anodyzed or powdercoated...
there are those wheels that have the lip that changes color based on location...
