EGR pipe broken...

Hi,
I had my car checked, and the mechanic said my ERG pipe had a hole in it, and that was the reason why it was sometimes smelly in the cabin...
Where is this pipe?
Is it as easy replacement, or will I have to take half the engine apart to get there??

Could I fix the hole with something?...I haven't seen the hole yet, but I imagine it's not too big...
Is the rear oxigen sensor connected to this pipe?

The egr pipe is the one that connects to your exhaust mani then goes back to the intake mani, its not hard to take out and i know a few people have taken it out and just pluged the holes up.
