I think I remember seeing someone trying this and it working, but I can't find it, of course(headshake. Has anyone tried this with good results? Just curious...

They were 16" RX-7 wheels.

I tried to slide on factory steal rims and they rubbed just a hair so I went with 17

I have 16's for my winter wheels. Picked them up from Tire-Rack for about 100/wheel....Sport-Edition's I believe

Absolutely no issues with clearance...the dealer put them on the car for me the day I bought the car (~2wks ago), so i've never driven on the stock wheels yet.

I've got the same wheels. OP, go to Tire Rack's website and if that doesn't satisfy you, give them a call.

What's the smallest you can fit? A guy at Belle Tire told me that 15" will in fact fit on the car. I don't know if I believe him though.

is the car ride smoother since you have more rubber /air cushion.

going from stock rides to plus 1 to two sizes usually makes the ride harsh, so Im thinking going backwards should make the ride softer?

I want to down grade to 17 inches... also is the gas mileage better.

I remember going from 15 -17 inches my mpg went down a few

Another question--will a 45mm offset work with a 7.5" wheel? I'd probably be running 225s or 235s. Thanks...

No one thinks 15" will fit right?

With as little clearance as there is on my 16's, I doubt that 15's will work....

And...IMHO they'd look funny...16's are boarderline right-looking on my car.

Some of us don't really care about the looks so much. When I bought the MS3, looks had absolutely nothing to do with it. I've driven uglier cars and it has never effected my status in life.

YMMV.

Also, FWIW, 15's will not clear the calipers.

Damn, no 15's then..hehe.

Anyone know someone who'd like a full set of Blizzak WS-50's? 215/60/15?
