Heres the Deal and the Info.

These are a "GO" on my end...Now it is up to you as the buyers and members who want this.

These will be even better than the originals.
The originals had a slight problem of being very thin and weak..They measured .060'' thick.
The new ones will be .080'' thick....Thats a 33% increase in thickness..but it will add a lot more to the Structural integrity than the added thickness does.
Definatley a plus without any drawbacks.

Now..On to the Pricing.

If we can do 40 Buyers....My price has come in Under the estimated amount as expected.

Here is the following prices based upon Paid orders up front.
The prices INCLUDE shipping and there is no additional PP fees.

The price you see..is what you pay..to your door. (US only...International Shipping is Extra..$TBD on an As needed basis)

These prices will only be for the GB.
After the GB is over..I will have these avaialable...But I am not sure what the cost will be for individual sales.
This will also likely be available form a vendor if they decide to sign on.

For reference....I do charge $165 for my Handmade pods in this fashion...so even at the 30+ Pricing..This is a steal for a nice molded product.

These will take apprx. 6 weeks to get done and to your door.


Also....
I forgot to add...there is another option with this pod.
You can get the pod without the Hole cut for the gauge.


This would give you a blank panel to work with for a custom gauges, Switchs, LED's , Shift lights ,Square gauges,Etc....Whetever you feel you need to be able to use...If it will fit..you can trim it to fit it.
Pricing is the same...Its just another option for you guys.

I am already in the process of getting these produced in Production form again...Not hand made..But Molded just as the original was.

I already have the item at the Mold Makers shop and should have a Solid quote from them by monday on producing these in Quantity.
I already have a Ballpark price on what this is going to cost , Hence WHy I am coming here to see if the interest is there to put these into production.And just for reference...Production molds can be and usually are in the thousands.

I want to know how many people would commit up front to buy one of these if they were readily available?

Now, I know what the first question will be.... "How Much?"

Well..It really depends on how much the mold is....But I am expecting to be able to keep the cost of these under $100.
This price would include your shipping and Paypal Fees.(Shipping to lower 48, Canada and Hawaii Extra)

If I kept the cost at or under this price....How many people would be interested...and would you be willing to pay a deposit up front to get this done?

If there is not enough interest...Then I will not proceed with this venture.
The part is already there..and after I get my quote for production Confirmed...This could be a go as quickly as I could dial up 10 digits.
I know some have attempted to make molded items before and Have never come through...and there even seemed to be the interest..so lets see how much interest there truly is.
This is something I have been considering and working on for a long time...and its close enough to fruition now to see who is in on the real deal.

I will also consider working with a vendor if they want to buy these in Quantity and maybe even offer an Exclusive offer to a vendor if the deal is right.

This would be a Direct copy of the Old on that used to be produced...

I am just taking the time to re-produce it since it hasn't been made in years and is VERY hard to find.
I will go find a few more pics...and yes..It replaces your Upper column clamshell.

I can also Offer it with no hole cut in the upper section for a gauge so you can modify it how you see fit...Whether it be for other lights..Shift light..Knock light or a Digital style square gauge..The options of what you can put there will only be limited by available Space and your creativity.

Nice to see that these will be back in production. I don't need one now (not enough gauges) but I'd definitely like to pick on up in the future when I need a new spot after I get my oil temp gauge. The wideband will likely be taking this spot. Even better news I should be in Cincinnati by that time so I could just swing by and pick one up :)

I took them one to check out at the same time..Its not cost effecive to make.

And yes...I have tried to figure out a viable solution to only doing 30 Units and even only 25 units...30 may be possibble...But I think the price would increase too much I think on 25

30 would and up being right around $125-$130 at the current pricng expectation.

25 would be between $155-$160 at this level.

Quite a price increase for 25...But yet still cheaper than I sold my one off hand mades for.

SO yes...It is an option, but as the price goes up..I am sure the number interested would go down.....Which would only lead to needing more buyers...Again.

SO, in short...Right now , we are still looking to fill the 40 spots and we are halfway there...So lets work on getting the numbers we need and keeping the cost as low as possible.
I am just like the next guy..I don't want to spend more than I have to to get good stuff abd thats why I am trying to offer this as low as I can.

OK...Talked to the Shop today...Still no Verified price..but they are close to figuring out the tooling cost.
That is all I am waiting for..I thought they were going to get back to me today with the finals after talking to them...but Alas..no call before the End of business.

For reference....I do charge $165 for my Handmade pods in this fashion...so even at the 30+ Pricing..This is a steal for a nice molded product.

also, you said that you will order the pods when you have reached 25 deposits and stop taking payments once the pods have reached you.

what if you did not hit the required 40 pod purchase by that time? raise the price and allow us to pay more or get our deposits back?
