well my i took my car in for an oil change today and to have them look at it cause of my smoking turbo and as soon as i pulled into the garage it started smoking and fill the service bay haha. it was bad this morning so now they have it and hopefully they will have the new turbo tommorow. the problem is they wont give me a rental car because im 19, i think they should since they have my car and i have no vehicle while its in the shop. Is this a commin thing since im not 21 or are they just making this up so they dont have to give me one?

you can rent a car at that age, it just costs a lot more. Let them know that per the mazda warranty you're supposed to be provided w/ a car amd you need it.

you could call Mazda NA for clarification if needed

im 20 and when i had to get the transmission replaced in my car 3 times they refused to give me a rental car also. The respect i get in there is horrible because of my age, but i can proudly say i have paid for everything myself so i don't pay any attention.

typically mazda will use a local car rental company for customer rentals...

if mazda finds out the dealer is renting non mazda/ford products they won't pay for the rental we got told to make sure and follow the rules
