Just bought a 2007 CX9 FWD with about 14K miles on it. I have been driving it for about 2 weeks. Keeping in mind my prior car was a 12 year old, 4 cylinder Accord, the experience is quite different.

One thing I have noticed - on gradual accelerations, in 2nd gear, but before shifting to 3rd, there is often a slight hitch, or hesitation. Asked dealer about it, was told that is how they all are. It might just take me getting used to, but with all the raves about the transmission in the CX9, it seems odd to me.

Wondering if anyone else has experienced similar occurrence.

drive the car more and it will adjust the shifting to your driving style. That may get rid of the hesitation.
