Im looking for a boost gauge came across these http://www.striracing.com/pro.htm was wondering if I need the 2 bar or 3 bar model??...and difference between electrical and mechanical gauge

you will want a 3 bar model. the 2 bar will max out at 14.7 psi. a mechanical gauge relies on a vacuum/pressure signal running through a line from the manifold to the gauge. an electrical gauge reads pressure from a switch or sending unit that is plumbed to the manifold rather than running a line. you will likely see smoother gauge activity with an electrical gauge over a mechanical gauge.

2 bar = 29.4 psi...I think you will be good with that.

Why don't you just get a gauge that reads psi????

Why don't you just get a gauge that reads psi????Because some Americans & the rest of the world live in the 21st century. Not the 19th.......(rofl2)

Why don't you just get a gauge that reads psi????It all depends on where you live in the world. I think only the US uses PSI.
