I like the look, but IMHO, the extreme pain of disassembling a sealed polycarbonate headlight assembly is not worth the gain, especially with the cost of a replacement if you screw up. Have you ever sean polycarbonate foam up if it gets too hot? Not pretty.
YMMV,

+1 from another enganear! And frankly, I fail to see what the fascination is with angel eyes.

I wouldn't buy from a company that uses the word "whatever" in the description of their product. See #2 in the box at the top-ish of the ad. I realize they're probably just re-selling someone else's kit, but if that's just plain lazy. Don't even get me started on the lack of period's and comma's in that ad as well.

If you are really interested in getting Angel Eyes for your 3 make sure you purchase a kit from a well known seller instead buying it off of ebay. The installation isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be. If you don't feel comfortable with installing them yourself try getting someone who has already installed a set on there 3 to help you out. I have angel eyes installed on my 3 and I love them. One of the best mods I've done to the 3 so far.

You don't want to disassemble a headlamp. It's difficult, and mistakes cost you dearly.

I also don't advocate the aftermarket replacements that have the angel eyes/halos in them already. The reflectors & projectors are inferior quality and light output SUCKS.

I have seen people make their own out of shower curtain rings, no joke.

Not to mention that they can't spell "guarantee".
