I remember you did a koni insert suspension for your MSP. Where did you get those inserts and how much are they ??
I'm thinking of doing a mod like that myself since koni has good rep on their product and combine them w/ H&R sport springs (if they match)
Can you help me here ?? Point any thing that i should look for ??
thnx in adv.

The Single adjustable koni race inserts would be $175.00 per shock, then you have to add on the gland nuts and shipping.
I guess it depends on what you plan on using the car for, if it's street use, I probably would go with something a little softer in valving but I don't know what else is out there.

Was it really that bad?

Based on motion ratio and spring rates, the shocks could be set at full soft and would be a lot better then majority of the off the shelf stuff, but having it on full stiff would probably be jacking the car down and not let it rebound up. Not sure in between, but I'm sure you would be able to find a happy median. This is what a lot of people do in stock class to mimic a stiffer spring rate. It's just more wear and tear on the shock though.

Well, this summer i'm touching a bit of everything.
First i was planning on getting H&R sport springs and keep stock HP's, but now that the driver side looks like rock solid (at least to me) on bumps and what not I'm looking to replaice everything.
Options are very wide open but money isn't so I'm trying to nail it w/ just on shot and get the right set up.
I'm not considering auto-x for now, but so far I'll be DD and spirited driving.
Since we talking about koni's , my plan is to get the inserts and stick em in the stock HP's and get H&R sport springs, i'm not looking to slam it but that should give a medium range in lowering the car and stiffness .
But then again i don't know if this set up would work and how many adj. koni's have for rebound ?? ( i know they're like 5settings but not sure about inserts)
Third if all are above about "my set-up" is good , are all koni inserts the same shape and size ?
What about bilstein , are they better or same ??
I'm considering other option as well, lik the Illuminas+H&R sport springs- this is like most favorable cus its plug n play type of deal.
CS - has a full-assembled kit - Illuminas+tokico red springs(don't know if they're racing or sport springs).
Or
Coil-over - preferable one - KW Suspension Variant 2 Coilovers ( for the price and quality they offer they are my #1 choice on coilovers)
It's not easy to choose that fast now is it ?
