1/4 mile Track Times Mazda 3 NA ONLY

hey whats up everyone just wondering whos taken their Mazda 3 (non turbo) to the track and what you best times have been
i've taken mine a couple of times and my best time so far has been 16.5 at 84MPH im not too happy with that im hoping other ppl have done better.
let me know.
and also next to you time list your mods. (if not on ur sig)

yea me 2 plus not i got rid of the rx8 wheels (which were heavy) n went wit there 18's i actually can smoke cars now lol
took a protege turbo yersterday (spank) i was proud of my car!

I've only run my car down the track 3 times, and it was my first time ever racing. I averaged mid 16's as well. I have a 4 speed auto. I tried running just auto, and tiptronic. I actually ran better when I let the car do the work. Averaged speed was around 84-85 mph. I was kind of depressed about that, because I have a catback and cai. I was hoping at least high
15's. However, it was my first time racing, like I said. I will probably go back this summer and test again. I'm hoping to throw some headers on as well.

I ran mine stock at about the same I didnt document it. But with a cold air, I ran in at just over 91 mph in 15.7...sorry no proof.

o well thats not bad either im in broward pretty often. That's my home town. I used to live in miramar/carol city ...i don't classify it as carol city but some people do since carol city was so close.

Ok so after Intake manifold, Headers, and split second tune... any1 would think my times would get better.
well aleast i did lol
but no! idk if i was just nervous to f*k up my car or i just lost torque with header and intake mani...

this year, 16 x 7.5, 13.5Lbs wheel, 225/50/16 REo1R, exedy stage 1 clutch, exedy lightweight flywheel, AWR 88, Coilover tein, Draxas 4-1 header, mazdaspeed3 exhaust with hiflow cat and AEM CAI or F2 3" CAI.

I hope to do 15 flat or 14 high..

same, i got all that minus the 16's, coilovers and clutch and flywheel. i'm hoping to hit low low 15's.

last run i did, the tree lit way before i expected it too, it caught me in reverse. so i freaked out and dropped the clutch at 6k. needless to say i did a ridiculous burn out with a 3.1 60ft. soo mad. and then it started raining so i only had one run in!!! wtf?!

Thanks. I'm still learning how to launch my car. Once I get that down pack I will be able to hit low 15s. Even when I ran that time my tires were still spinning at the start.
