View Full Version : HVAC Fan Switch Problem

Greetings!

I have an '03 mp5 and I am having problems with the 5-way switch that controls the HVAC fan speed. It only works in position 4 and not at all in positions 0 - 3.
It seems to me like a bad switch. If anyone has had a similar problem or has suggestions, I would sure appreciate it.

Sounds like a blower resistor to me. When that blows, you dont get current on the lower settings, but there isnt any resistance on the fourth setting, so you still have a fan.
