What can be used to block of the egr tube hole in the intake mani?

why would you want to block off the egr and throw a cel?

im just doing it till i can get all the parts i need for my project then ill get it all done up right.

why not just cut the current line,put a breather filter on the intake side and cap off the exhaust side. thats what i have done and you wont throw a cel from it

that would work for me but how did you get a breather filter to the mani?

you cut the egr line and a length of your choosing then squeeze a breather filter on the end of the line its that simple.

if you have the 626 manifold (which i assume you do by your signature) then yes I can get an EGR tube for about $65 shipped

Yeah i have the 626 mani but part of what im doing is getting rid of that mani so i would need the protege egr tube. Part of my problem is that the obx header egr fitting was jacked up so the 626 egr tube had to pretty much be welded on to the header, so im most likely looking at getting a new header also. And 2.0t03speed thnx for that info i will probly do that.

Hows your idle? I have been thinking of just blocking mine off or doing the same as you. I just don't know what to do.
