I know theres a few posts out there about changing your fog lights to HID's, and i'm looking to do the same or change the bulbs to match the low beams. My question is where is the best place to buy them that ships to canada? and whats the best to setup to buy?

Thanks

Several companies sell upgrades to HID.

#1) Are you sure you need HID? There are plenty of Halogen (stock) bulbs that will match the HID appearence for a fraction of the price. Personally the fogs put out plenty of light and are fine for me. It was only around $20 to replace the bulbs to match. There's a couple of threads regarding the HOEN bulbs which match our HIDs.

#2) If you decide to go with a full upgrade kit try to find a plug and play solution that will work with the H11 bulbs we already have. This way you won't have to mess with wiring directly to the battery/fuses. You simply plug in the ballast to the existing H11 plug and go from there. This route will easily cost more than $100 though.

Again, I think you need to ask yourself why are you doing this and choose the appropriate route. Remember the cost of HID bulbs is more than $50 to replace a set, while Halogen is less than $20. If a ballast goes then its most likely near $100.

There are lots of companies that sell PNP H11 conversion / upgrades. Any of them should do, but note there is no guarantee they will match the factory color (every kit/bulb manufacturer has a color variance). Here's a thread for a generic Ebay conversion (http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123661988&highlight=fog) from Rican's setup. His matched really well, but its not plug and play (but cheaper too).

therpmstore.com (www.therpmstore.com)has both solutions: Full HID conversions, or bluish-looking halogen replacement lights for less.

Only reason i was looking for the HID kit is because i figured it would match better, the fog lights are bright enough for me too. I was looking at the Hoen site and the picture of the bulbs that match the HID's didn't look like they matched too well at all.
