Ok so i was told there are no diffs in the 1.6 1.8 and 2.0 tranny's is that true.

Not true. The 2.0 uses the G series transmission which is MUCH stronger than the F series which the 3rd gen 1.6 and 1.8 use (1.8 uses a different bell housing)
