Can someone explain to me how to take off the lower portion of the grille on the MS6. I am looking to purchase this grille. I wasnt sure if you had to take off the whole front bumper of not. I REALLY HOPE NOT.

I'm pretty sure that it is a overlay that goes over the stock mesh honeycomb grill.

Pretty ugly imo though

Well if I wanted to take the honey comb grill off, how would that be done.

Yes, you have to take the bumper cover off. You'll have to unscrew many of the plastic components on the underside, disconnect the fog side marker connectors and unscrew the screws holding the cover on (4). Then the cover unsnaps on the sides and comes off (it's not heavy). The honeycomb snaps in place from the inside of the cover. The honeycomb has the clips built into the plastic design.

If it's your first time, take your time and plan for about 2 hours to do the whole thing. After that it will only take you about 45 mins to do the same job carfully. The hardest part will be getting the lower skirt to fit back into place while putting the bumper back on.

You dont have to take anything apart! Its an overlay that clips over the stock honeycomb piece. Install took me about 10 minutes.

I used to have it on my car but it was too chrome looking so now its in my garage so if anyone want to buy it...
