tranny problems

So my tranny is very hard to shift into any gear. I was told its not the syncro's but you basically have to slam it into any gear. So if anyone can help me out here please. I was thinking just to put a new tranny in(smash) it.

Sounds like your clutch isn't disengaging fully to me. Put the car on level ground with the engine off in first gear, push the clutch to the floor and try to move the car with one foot out the door. Then put the car in Neutral and see if its just as easy to move the car.

Ok i just tried and there is no diff it is just as easy both ways. Like its weird i cant just put it in first its to hard i have to put it in second and slam it into first.
