sounds great.... i was actually shocked at how close to stock it sounds at idle... when you punch it... that's where the fun is.... it sounds similar to a WRX... just a bit quiter.. i like it especially with the CP-E Intake and Forge BPV..... ETS intercooler is next..

Do you observe better PERFORMANCE ?

Rush24

absolutely! no turbo lag..... smooth shift between all gears... and at high rpm... it's a joy to drive! Butt dyno would say an extra 15-20 horses... i'll probably do a dyno run in a week or so... (hump)

definantly... Don't get me wrong the cp-e and corksport systems are probably great... But for the cost... And being an average joe... Custom setup from a local shop... Best bet for the $$$.... I've had my Saturn and Mazda 3 done by this shop and they've always done great...

Sounds great...I put the CP-E quick pipe and Catback exhaust on...and now that I have the car tuned and boosted properly it is amazing how quick these cars really are. Stainless steel, smooth bends, no restrictions...deep sound. I am not trying to be biased but this exhaust is really sweet...I miss my Mustang GT with straight pipes but this will definately do for now. I like the Cork Sport one from what I heard also but I am definately happy with the CP-E one I have on!

I liked the Corksport one and the CP-E one but when it came to the sound I thought the CP-E had a much deeper tone to it which is what I ended up getting...I love this exhaust system.

You may not be able to add the ETS intercooler without the ECU FLASH they are working on at CP-E. They told me you can't run an upgraded exhaust, CAI and the ETS intercooler with the current ECU factory settings. I'm not sure what will happen but i'm guessing the increased HP form all these upgrades will cause the ECU to throw the check engine light. They are currently working on a ECU FLASH "tune" that will adjust for the increased HP from all of these mods.

Rush24 - your custom exhaust looks good. The only negatives that I see are that the bends are not mandrel bends - the pipes are pinched at the bends. But overall I'm sure the pipe still flows more than stock. Also, your muffler-less system would be a tad too aggressive sounding for me, but that is a personal thing. Some people like it loud!

Surprisingly its not that loud...and the bends haven't prevented it from performing like a champ....(yes)
