I just finished installing my split second psc1 and i just wanna make sure that the supermap is loaded in it. Im not too familiar with the r4 software and just want someone to tell me how to upload the map to the afc and how to set it up so i wont have any problems. Ive already had it hooked up to the labtop and it seems ok but i just wanna make sure before i get on it. Thanks

Open the software. Open New Customer. Connect to the AFC. Go to Fuel Maps, and hit the Upload Map from ECU button. Compare map loaded to SuperMap.
If its not the same, close that session. Open New Customer, find the SuperMap on your harddrive(can be dl'ed from this forum). Connect to ECU, go to Fuel Maps, Load Map onto ECU.

Vista does not support serial connections or usb-to-serial conversion well if at all, so while you can try it I would not recommend it.

I have no problems using the software with Vista. I'm using the same USB-Serial cable I was with XP.

this is good news. i have had nothing but issues and gotten many complaints from vista users about it. which brand usb/serial are you using?
