Would this be too much for the rims under autocrossing conditions? Someone said that it would be a too tight of a fit. Not sure that i want to roll my fenders yet, but I might to get 235s on there. Just want to see if anyone has gone up to 225s on the stock rims and had any problems or if anyone has done both 225 then went to 235s?

225/40/18 isn't considered a safe fit on a 7" wide rim, but 225/45/18 is.

I currently have 235s on the stock wheels, no rubbing under normal conditions. Have yet to autocross.

Just put 225/45-18 Goodyear Eagle F1 A/S on my MS6 and seem to have no problem.

245s? Humm what I read you can't get them on without rubbing. What wheels and spacing do you have on them?

How the hell do you come up with that? They are the same width.....??? So how is one safe and the other not?
