Here's the deal. My stock MSP headunit rotating assembly broke. I bought a few Kenwood radios off of the forum. I fixed the ribbon cable on one of them and put the rotating assembly off another back onto my stock unit. When I plug it in it rotates and tells me to enter the security code. I have no idea what the previous owner of my MSP set the code to. Can anyone help me out?

That's not the case here. I found a sequence on the internet involving the remote control, but both my remotes are dead. I'm going to try getting a new battery for the remote and trying that technique first.

* bump *
The remote control thing I found on the net didn't work. The screen still folds flat and asks for the security code. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's somewhere in the user manual how to set it. What they don't tell you though and for obvious reasons, is how to disable it when it has been set.
