Hey everyone. Now that our group buy is over and some members have the kits now, I wanted to start a question and answer thread.
If you have any questions regarding our company, how to install the kits, the benefits of water/meth, or water/meth in general.......let us know.
I am constantly on the board and would be happy to address any questions.
Best regards,
Lucas

This post was pulled from the Group Buy thread. It was from kicker22705.
"found a station that pumps methanol for 4.20/gal
my initial reaction is a very good one. everything works beautifully, no leaks, no malfunctions, no hiccups, no complaints.
my audible pinging is gone, hopefully the non audible one is as well. i'll know for sure this weekend after i install a knock light.
i didn't want to go crazy w/o any knock monitoring, so i only ran up to 13.5 psi w/ no timing changes. i wasn't paying the closest attention to my afr but it didn't seem to have changed much, if at all. theres no bogging/hessitation when it does turn on; just a very smooth fast acceleration.
i like the green led. since the pump doesn't make any noises, its nice to have the light to let you know when the pump switches on/off and starts/stops pumping. i have mine hooked up to my microtech, set to turn on when its at least 3000rpm and 8psi, and it appears to turn on exactly where it supposed to.
so basically it does everything the way it was described, and that makes me a happy customer
thanks k. soze"
That's what we like to hear. :)

Lookin' good. That solenoid is in-line with the fluid hose, correct? I can't tell from the pics. I'm just wanting to make sure.

i don't have the the Labonte Controller, im using one of my Microtech Aux-Outputs to activate the pump based on a preset rpm & map pressure.

yes between the pump and injector nozzle as instructed. its about 12-18 inches from the injector nozzle. i figured it'd be best mounted closest to the nozzle for the quickest response.

Awesome. I just wanted to make sure. That sounds perfect. I'm glad you're liking it so far. When you tune for it, it'll be that much better.

That stinks. Sorry to hear that. I'm sure you'll have it up and running in no time.
On another note, I thought I would post this to give an example what our kits can do.
Progressive pump systems are very predictable and can deliver a nice flat A/F curve. Here are some dyno charts comparing the VCS3G against our VC-25 on an EVO8MR (yea, yea, we'll get some Mazda dynos up soon enough). Notice how flat the A/F is across the pull for runs 8 & 10. The car picked up 15awhp just from more accurate injection control ! We could have made more hp just by adjusting the Gain on the VCS3G, but owner was happy enough with results.

my flow gauge, IFS-10 fail safe, and BBK boost by-pass came in today. Everything looks great, quality looks top notch. I got some HKS Chrono's gauges coming in next week too, can't wait to install everything in the coming weeks.

i'm in the process of installing the IFS-10, but i'm uncertain about something i need clarified. Does it matter where it is mounted in between the Pump and Nozzle?
Should it be a) between the checkvalve/solenoid and the injector nozzle, or b) between the pump and the checkvalve/solenoid?
a) Pump---Solenoid---IFS10---Injector Nozzle
b) Pump---IFS10---Solenoid---Injector Nozzle
does it even matter? thanks

haha sorry, i have everything installed, it's just i'm waiting on a fused power distributor block to power everything from my gauges to meth kit. i got sick of tapping into acc on and my radio. looked like crap, and wasn't gonna be too long before i started blowing fuses.

as i promised...
the gauge on the left reading "000" is the flow gauge
the 2nd picture is the IFS-10 - Injection Fail Safe (mounted by my left kick panel)
the 3rd picture is the BBK-10 - Boost By-Pass Kit (mounted in the engine bay by my CAI)
the 4th picture is what i see when i drive. New HKS RS Meters FTW!!!
flow gauge is really really bright as you can see, and thats w/ it dimmed
should be getting some road tuning later today.

Nice! That looks great. Thanks for posting the pictures up. Hopefully this will give an idea to members that our stuff isn't that tough to install or find areas to place our failsafes and controllers.

well I know now that the IFS-10 and BBK-10 work, and work well. my nozzle clogged, and it kept cutting the boost from high boost to wastegate. I thought something was wrong w/ my EBC and kept cranking the boost but the BBK-10 kept returning it to wastegate. Took me a few minutes before i realized what was going on. i'm pretty glad i had it, and nozzle didn't clog until after i installed the IFS-10/BBK... talk about lucky.

do you have any idea why the nozzle clogged? you did just install it right?

yeah it was installed right. there was just something that clogged the hole in the nozzle. could've been mineral deposit, debris, i really don't know. i replaced the nozzle and everything works well now.

i didnt question if you installed it correctly. the sentence should have read, "you did just install it, isnt that right?"
im glad you got it fixed

So how is everyone liking their Methanol/Water injection systems, and what kind of gains have you seen? Tell me your story, because I am considering taking the plunge.
