need help with 440's

i just put my 440's in and when i boost up to 5lbs i get a bad fuel cut i got a gt28rs, FMIC, 2.5 catback and Unichip with Unichip's map (CAI, catback exhaust) <--- that what their map was tuned for. Could it be i just need to tune it?

you need a tune custom tune or a fuel cut defender or a new fuel pump could be a number of things

i thought it was just needing a tune just wanted to make sure im taking out the unichip and putting in my Split sec FTC

well that is why i got the split sec, and i got a mpi without the cable that is supposed to come with it

two shops local to me tried tuning larger injectors (440s and 550s) on the msp unichip and they were never able to get a good map out of it. the unit is really not designed to run larger injectors than stock for a variety of reasons, whether it be open and closed loop control or simply hardware limitations. there may be ways around it but out of the box its not designed to run larger injectors.

Oh yea im getting rid of the piece of shit unichip i bought it for like 900 and nobody local tunes it, so basically it was a very expensive boost controller i didnt feel any difference other than more boost so i went another route havent decided on mpi or ss ftc, i got both
