MS3 Audio questions

has anyone upgraded their stereo system yet, If you did what speakers and subs did you put, and what housing did u put for the in dash reciever?

i upgraded my stock radio to a Jensen 7inch flip out touch screen, the harness was from a regular 3 that i previously owned and it plugged right in with no problems. i havent upgraded speakers or added subs, the system sounds really good now (bose) i have a gt model, the bass is alot louder and sounds good with the extra power from the aftermarket reciever.

stock bose HU, alpine type r 6.5" component set up front, MTX re-q and alpine pdx 4.150 amp hidden under the plastic portion of the spare tire tool tray and alpine type r 12" sub in a tiny sealed box that can be removed very easily from the hatch. i left the stock amp/sub installed and the low pass for the sub is about where the stock sub starts to stumble.

it sounds incredible to me...very pleased.

what size are the MS3 stock speakers. i've seen that people say they are 6x8 or 5x7 but why would we have a circular hole then?

they are 6x8/5x7. most people build small adapter baffles and install 6.5" like me.
