i got a question.

i instaled sillicone hoses from the WGA to the manifold and also did the BPV.

my question is can i leave the hose with no tie-raps on it or should i get something so it won't pop off under boost? will it ??

on another note,
i took me like 3 hours to get the ATP WGA in.. i know took long but i didn't have to remove the exaust manifold and i was ALONE so i had to use good tools to do so..

i used one of these for the C-clip... i know it'S too short to go put the clip in.. thats why i taped a ratchet exension on the tip and it cliked it on the first try :)

also, another problem i had was to get the rod to go to the right lenght in order to put the wastegate pin in.

i used this.. again, piece of cake.

just start your air compressor to get about 10-15 psi in it.. dont go over that as you could bust the diaphragm.. plug the vaccum hose ( 10 feet in my case) on the air handle thingy ( sorry i don't know the name in english) and the other part on the WGA.. then pres gently and VERY little.. it will move withing a millisecond and is VERY fast to come out.

get under the car with the handle and adjust to desired position :)

Wow, 3 hours huh? Oh well, at least you got it done! By the way, why don't you run the BPV line on the brake boost and have the WGA line independent with the intake?

I'd put a few zip ties on there. Have you ever thought to light the street on fire to see the snow melt? I guess that's just the pyro in me.(flame)

As CnoTataymo already mentioned, you should not have anything T'd into the wastegate line. It should have it's own dedicated line.

it was like that stock :s

can someone show me a pic where to tap the BPV on the brake booster?

Yes, it was like that stock but Mazda didn't really build this car as they should have stock. T'ing into the wastegate line causes boost creep or spiking or something along those lines. You want you wastegate to react as quicly as possible and when you start T'ing into that line the vac has to travel around to all those other paths/devices.

Here is mine. I'm using a vacuum block for my BPV, BOV and boost gauge.

http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f49/zachconnelly/zoom%20zoom/th_Picture006-1.jpg (http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f49/zachconnelly/zoom%20zoom/Picture006-1.jpg)

And here is an example of someone just T'ing into it.

http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f49/zachconnelly/zoom%20zoom/th_Vacuum20diagram.jpg (http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f49/zachconnelly/zoom%20zoom/Vacuum20diagram.jpg)

And if and when you do this make sure you cut the line a 1 to 1 1/2 inches to the left (passenger side) of the check valve that is located inside the brake booster line. Feel the line and there is a slight bulge that is harder than the rest of the line.

As said above, the stock setup sucks.

I don't know who to credit for this, but it should help.

I have a vac manifold like GhostOne, best way, IMO, to do it.

Google it. Many places sell them, IIRC, Protege Garage sells a Vibrant one.

Or, do like I and many others, make one yourself.

Double check all the part numbers, if you need help let me know

I tried those clips to no avail so Iused those mini hairpin styles and a pair of neddle nose pliers and that worked for me. 5 min.
