Reverse signal/speed sensor wires?

I'm trying to install a Pioneer AVIC-D3 and need to figure out where these wires are.

Also I have my car hooked up to a unichip. Would I tap into the unichip or ECU speed sensor wire?
(I'm guessing its at the ECU?)

Ok I found out its at the ECU.....Green/red wire.


Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee where is the reverse signal? Can it be by the shifter?

Well thanks for nothing..

Had to dig in 3 different forums but I think I found it

VSS is Green/red stripe on ECU 58pin

Reverse light.....................just ended up hooking it to the reverse light wire all the way at the back of the car. =(

when hooking up the d3 do you need + wires or - wires. the reverse switch could also be located on the transmission, there should be a sensor on there. i just ordered a d3 and i was looking for the same two wires, but trying to find them other than at the ecu, they should be under the dash somewhere before the ecu

I hooked it up to the + wire. Haven't had any issues so far.
