So Ive noticed alot of guys in here are in the military, and many of them even say they are in San Diego, but where?? I know there is another MS3 on Pendleton here with me, I just cant find him.
So where are you?? If you are military, tell us what base you are on and what unit. Maybe we can get some of us together to kick back a few beers orswap stories about how f***ed up our command is or something.
I am with 1MLG on Camp Pendleton, Main Side

I recently retired from the USN (that is CIVLANT if I remember correctly).

Okinawa..... fond memories. I spent 2 years in Okinawa with 7th Comm Bn as a Data Network Specialist (nothing "special" about it....) and had alot of buddies on the 31st MEU as well. God, I hate that island with all my bitter little heart, but there were a few bars I will miss. Fujiyamas FTW!!!! Now Im with CLR-1 on Pendleton, kickass place.

There is a silver MS3, up in Horno. My husband bought that for me when he came home from Iraq, but I let him drive it sometimes. He says there is also a red one up in Horno. And yours?

haha... Okinawa was a very memorable place for me as well! I was stationed there at Camp Lester for almost 3 damn years! I remember gate2 street, kinville and even whisper alley, lol... Downtown Naha was always fun as well as the races by Kadena and the drifts at the industrial area by Futenma.
Have anybody thats been to Oki been to "the Stage"?

How about the Banana Show out gate 2 at Kadena? Now that was scary. I lived outside of Camp Foster near the seawall.
I am an officer in the AF, about to hit 12 years this summer. Currently at Aviano, Italy. Was stationed at Hickam, Hawaii prior to that. Done some time at LSA Anaconda IZ but not near as long as the Army and Marine folks. It has been a great run so far. OMW to DC this summer.

Just left Hansen a few months ago, dude. You are talking about Fujiyama, I believe. If you read about half way down the third page, I mentioned it. It was where my best friends and I would drink every friday night, they knew us in there. My buddy was dating the door girl. Anyways, yeah, Kin sucked ass exept for a few small places here and there.
As for the red MS3 on Horno, that might have been me - I am up there all the time, hanging out with my buddy. He is in the S6 with 3/1. I didnt know about the silver one, though, just the black one on Main Side. So much for being unique. :P

I haven't seen the black one, but we don't go to Mainside much these days. At least you are the only red one on base so far.

I don't own a Mazda but I've been to this forum for a little while now. I'm in college at the moment and after graduation, I'm leaning towards the Air Force. I believe you can become an Officer if you have a Bachelor's Degree or higher. Something to look forward to :D

I don't own a MS3 (yet), but I'm stationed at Cherry Point with the MALS. This place is horrible. I highly suggest staying as far away from here as possible.
I was deployed to Iwakuni last year. Had a good time, but I'm glad my stay was short. Things got old really quick.
My terminal leave starts December around Christmas time. I can't wait.

I'm on RAP (recruiter's assistance) right now, but will be in Charleston, SC soon enough as a C-17 Loadmaster...I'm hoping when I go on my first deployment in April, I'll have saved enough to put towards a down payment on a Speed 3, assuming they're still available by the time I get back.

Wow missed this thread...USAF TRobertson and moonpie...Nah Im really looking forward to it no matter how bad it is its better than wasting away doing very little but making it by here in Fl. I need some excitement or at least some change. Plus I have always wanted to serve my country even if it is only for 4 years (thats if i hate it and dont re enlist). I love aircraft and such so I'm going to the USAF to work on them hopefully gonna get 2a2x3(i believe is what it is called) or some other maintenance job since I at least like to work on things (i work on cars now for school/job). Anyways I hope its gonna be fun or at least ok, it seems a lot of guys hate it, but I at least want the experience.
Edit: I sure do hope that I will be able to afford me a nice speed3 after i save up for a while for it. Living on base and all should help with getting money saved up but i dont plan on being able to afford one for at least a year...hopping to put down around 8k to keep the payments lower.
