well first off, i know that this is the turbod forum and i have this in my NA car, but it should not matter and the turbod guys have experience with this afc, so im turning to you guys with a question......

i installed the air fuel controller and i uploaded a map to it with all 10's in the cells. my car would idle for about 10 seconds then the wideband would show the car idling between 16 to 17 then die out. i could not figure out why it as doing this.

i uploaded the superstock map onto the splitsecond afc ( it should work because my car does not reach the boost cells anyway, so my car should run stock) and my car runs fine. everything works good and everything checks out to be normal.

so what i have been doing is making changes into the supermap for my tuning, so my question is....

how do you make a custom map? is there a certain way to do it? why does it only work with the supermap?

any input would be good. thanks

i was just wondering. see i thought that a afc was only really nice if you had a turbo not NA

no its still very benifical to NA cars, espcially how my car had ratios of 10:1!

Well under system settings it should be Vacuum/Pressure and Programmable Signal Calibrator. Engine settings should be four cylinder and four stroke. Etc...

It just sounds like some of your setup parameters are incorrect. Out of curiosity, when do you have the AFC kicking on? Like, for me, the AFC takes over at 1.1 psi or over 6000 RPM.
