So I bought a greddy full auto timer for my speed 3 07, I am having trouble finding the right wires for the install, I need the vss wire colour and best location, I dont want to probe all the bloody wires to find it. Can anyone help me on this? Any info would be great. Cheers.

Red wire on harness to thick red wire in the steering column.
Blue wire on harness to the same red wire.
Green wire on harness to the thick green/yellow wire.
Black wire on harness to ground
There you go buddy, I dont know where's the best location to put, but its totally up to you, I mounted mine on the left side of the steering column with velcro tape. Oh, btw I didnt use the brown wire (speed sensor) I think it is, i just hid it somewhere underneath the steering column
Good luck

oh and btw, the remote still work with the turbo timer on
and just a tip, to be on the safe side, do NOT cut the wires to tap them, get one of the connectors that just pinches the enough to connect both the turbo timer wires to the wires in the steering column, oh and well the wire for the e-brake goes with the e-brake line duh lol

there's a wire i had to tap for the e-brake when i was doing the install for my turbo timer, i have the same one as the OP, the greddy turbo timer, i might be wrong but im pretty sure that why i had to tap the e-brake line, lol i think im getting too old
i guess you'll see the wire im talking about when you get your turbo timer and open the box

oh i jus figured i'll just set the turbo timer to 30 seconds, and if i run it hard i'll just listen to half a song before i turn the car off, i honestly dont know where i would tap that wire, sorry, but i'm glad that helped you out a bit :) good luck with the install
