anyone ever put a cowl hood scoop on the msp? like a small 2.5" high one. i seen this guys civic in town with one and it didnt look to bad. plus i could also mount a fuel pressure gauge under the cowl to be hidden but still viewable from inside the car. ok im tired thats just my thought.

Truthfully.... i dont see any use for it with a Import, get the Ram Hood from DGM if you want a good hood that actually helps alot (if you have a ram intake) but ive never seen a Cowl hood on a protege yet, i dont care for them that much

to each his own. there was a guy on the forum that had a cf evo hood i think and a WRX cowl on the front of it.. can't seem to remember his name.. didn't look bad.

It looked ugly and was completely against its functionality. Evo hood gets the hot air out of the engine bay, just to ahve the STI scoop suck right back in........

Yeah but didn't one of the SWRT STI's emplement the same design on one of their cars... I dunno if having a top mount intercooler changes things though
